Established in 2015Southeast School of Driving was founded in 2015, when we acquired the business formerly known as PDH Driver Academy. Since that time, classes were taught annually in Mabel-Canton, Rushford-Peterson, Houston, and Spring Grove School Districts. Houston High School was added in the summer of 2018, and classes continued to be offered in 4 locations each year. In 2022 we scaled back and since then have been offering annual classes in Rushford and Houston. Starting in 2024 we are adding a new online classroom option for students that are not able to attend an in-person classroom session.

Our GoalOur goal is to first educate the parents and students on the entire process of becoming a licensed teen driver. The parents play a vital role in this, and that is why we start each class with a Parent/Student session to share information about the process, the laws, and the expectations so everyone is one the same page.
When it comes to the student classes, our focus is to provide the students with a high level of personalized classroom instruction that prepares them for taking the Knowledge Test so they can pass it and get their permit. The Behind-the-Wheel training takes place after the students have successfully passed their Knowledge Test and have their permit. It is designed for the students to be learn all of the skills needed to successfully pass their Road Test to get their license. |
